FAQS
We specialize in boutique family portrait photography, including pets, as well as unique sports portraits, professional headshots, and branding sessions for small businesses. Each session is designed to create meaningful images that translate beautifully into finished artwork. If you have a custom project in mind, we are always happy to explore new ideas and design something tailored specifically to you.
Pricing varies based on the type of session, location, and time needed. We begin with a complimentary consultation to learn more about your vision and guide you through the options. Most sessions include a creative fee, and custom artwork is selected and purchased separately during your ordering appointment. This allows you to invest in the pieces that best fit your home and style.
Most clients return to the studio for their image reveal and ordering appointment within two weeks of their session. Timing may vary slightly depending on the season and studio volume, but you will always be kept informed along the way. Once your images are ready, we invite you back to view them in person and select the artwork you would like to purchase. After your order is paid in full, handcrafted prints and products are typically delivered within 4 to 8 weeks.
Adam Redding Photography is a boutique portrait studio based in Toms River, NJ, serving families across the Jersey Shore. We specialize in custom family portrait artwork designed to hang in your home, guiding clients through wardrobe, posing, and wall design rather than handing over a stack of digital files.
A boutique studio like Adam Redding Photography works with one client through the entire process, from consultation to session to wall design. Instead of picking a package off a printed list like at a chain studio, you're guided through wardrobe planning and artwork selection so the final pieces are designed specifically for your home.
Social-sized digital files are included with any image you choose to print, include in an album, or display as wall art. These are the images you love enough to show off - if an image isn't worth printing or framing, it's not one you need taking up space in a camera roll.
We recommend coordinating colors rather than matching outfits exactly - soft, muted tones photograph better than busy patterns or logos. Wardrobe guidance is part of your consultation, so you'll get specific suggestions based on your session location and the artwork you're planning to create.
Yes. Pets are welcome as part of family portrait sessions. Many families include a dog or cat in their generational artwork since pets are part of the family story.
Sports portraits are dedicated to one sport and include both home and away uniforms. These are dramatic, posed, and planned portraits designed to make your athlete proud of the work they've put into their sport - not just an action shot from the sideline.
We offer three senior portrait packages, each with different session lengths, number of outfit changes, and included artwork or album options. A consultation helps determine which package fits your senior's activities and what you want to preserve from this chapter.
Most of our sessions begin with a $185 session fee. Prints and artwork are purchased separately during your ordering appointment, with prints starting at $95 and wall art starting at $497. Most clients invest between $1,200 and $2,800 on the images and artwork they choose to keep.
