About The Event
We will be visiting the area on August 22/23rd and would like the change to create with local dancers! From 2pm Saturday through 8pm Sunday sessions will be available to create on location. While we do not have exact address just yet, we know that the area provides for some amazing backdrops to create with your dancer as the featured subject.
The session includes one hour of time, editing of the images, online hosting of your gallery (uploaded 2-3 weeks after your session), and $25 product credit to get you started on displaying your most cherished images.
We allow one outfit change per session as a swap in outfits does cut into the time, however, a second outfit will create greater variety of images to the final products. Pointe shoes are acceptable for the shoot as long as dance moves are performed safely with caution and planning. You may also want a skirt or tutu to add a little extra flair to the scene. If you're more of a casual type, we have captured images of dancers in jeans and a top that give just as much personality as a tutu or dress.
What to expect: Upon greeting you, we will cover our goals for the session, ask you about your favorite moves and what you have been practicing, as well as discuss how we operate the session. In order to maximize our time together, we ask that dancers prepare 10 moves they can consistently perform: 2 poses with two feet on the ground (eg. lunge, fourth, turned out second, split/straddle), 4 poses with one foot on the ground (eg. arabesque, attitude, battement, passé), and 4 moves that are flying (eg. firebird, C-jump, passé jump, grand jete, double stag). But please make sure moves are with in your abilities and practiced ahead of time. We can absolutely get creative on location and interact with the surroundings, but best to be prepared for the start.
Weather is always a threat to location sessions. Every attempt will be made to create unless storms or persistent rain is present. Time is built into the schedule to shift sessions from Saturday to Sunday if it rains, or from Sunday to Saturday if the forecast is less than ideal. There is also the possibility of Sunday being pushed to Monday if necessary. We will make evey effort to complete your session between Saturday and Monday (if necessary).

This ticket is purchased separately for a sibling to shoot with a registered dancer during their time slot. Indiviuals of both as well as duet images will be created. Only 1 sibling per hour session permitted. (Third sibling would need a separate ticketed session, however all 3 would be able to share the 2h time slot).
