Sunrise Beach Action Dance Session

These sessions are unique to each dancer and each sunrise it different every time!  When we are done, you will absolutely be picking out one of the images to display on your wall in youe home!

Details:

Sessions are 90-120 mins long, and focus on capturing your best dance moves and poses interacting with the sunrise.

Outfits:

Bring up to 3 outfits for the shoot, but remember that the sun keeps climbing while you are changing.  Usually the first change is 20 mins after sunrise and for more of the beach images.  Outfits can be any dance related items that you wish.  Bring old recital costumes, competition outfits, or a set of leggings and a sports top.  Try to stay away from all black as it eats up the light and makes for poor action images. Also, bring outfits that can get wet and sandy. We are at the beach and some of the best pictures come from the water's edge.  Don't forget a towel, brush, hair ties, sandals, and a change of clothes for the ride home. 

Preparation: 

Practice practice practice! Then go stand in sand and try it again!  It is not easy to get into the air pumping from sand.  We may have some secrets to help you with this, but you should be used to moving before you get to the shoot.  Any type of move that you can do is welcome, just be prepared with at least 10.  Use your phone and create an album for quick reference on location. 

Parents:

Bring a towel or beack chair, and relax and watch your dancer interact with the sunrise! You can also take a nap since you have been up since 3am trying to get them out of bed and ready for the shoot.  We also encourage you to livestream the shoot on social media (but who is really up at 5:30 to watch?) and let all your friends know how the session is going. Family and friends are allowed on location as long as they are courteous to the creating process.
